Change can be a scary thing whether it is a positive change or a negative change. I specialize in helping clients of all ages process through the overwhelming emotions of fear, anxiety, and depression that come with these changes.

I am dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and judgment-free space for clients of all ages. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, adjustment disorders, and relationship or behavioral challenges.

While I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, I have extensive experience supporting adolescents and teens and young adults in what I like to call “transitional” periods of life. These transitions I am referring to are the change between Elementary to Middle School, Middle to High School, High School to College or the Work Force, and College into whatever comes next.

I tailor my care to each individual by integrating evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Play Therapy. While I only utilized skills and techniques that are tried and tested academically, clients can expect sessions with me to feel more like a friendly conversation at a cafe rather than a lecture from a tenured professor.

I strive to bring my levity, humor, and knowledge of all things quirky and nerdy into each session. I earned my bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Purdue University in West Lafayette and completed my Master’s degree at Purdue University Northwest in Hammond, Indiana.

Outside of therapy, I love spending quality time with friends and family. My wife and I are huge foodies, and most weekends we can be found trying out new and exciting gastronomic experiences.
