I provide therapy for children (ages 5+), teens, adults, couples, and families who are experiencing stress, emotional overwhelm, or unexpected life challenges. Sometimes these struggles show up as anxiety, mood changes, behavioral concerns, school difficulties, relationship strain, or family conflict. Other times it might be difficulty with emotional regulation, or feeling disconnected from the people who matter most. When these challenges arise, it can leave individuals and families feeling unsure of where to turn or how to move forward.

The most important part of therapy is creating a safe, trusting space where you feel heard and supported without judgment. I believe that taking the first step toward counseling is a true act of courage. Together, we will move at a pace that feels manageable, focusing on practical tools, meaningful insight, and small changes that lead to lasting growth.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a classroom teacher in an inner-city community, where I saw firsthand how essential coping and emotional regulation skills are for individuals, children, and families. That experience continues to shape my compassionate and practical approach. I have since gained extensive experience working in residential treatment, school settings, and community mental health agencies throughout Northwest Indiana, supporting clients across the lifespan.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Behavioral approaches, Narrative Therapy, and Family Systems work to tailor treatment to each client’s needs. I support clients navigating ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, adjustment and mood disorders, grief, trauma, and family-related concerns. I also work closely with parents and caregivers to strengthen communication, understanding, and supportive skills at home.

I understand how important it is to find the right therapist for yourself or your family. When we begin, we take time to understand your concerns, your goals, and what support would feel most helpful. Therapy can offer clarity during overwhelming seasons, strengthen resilience, and provide a space to process what feels heavy or confusing.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and National Certified School Counselor, my areas of focus include:
Child & Adolescent Therapy | Family Support | Anxiety & Mood Disorders | ADHD & Autism Support | Trauma & Grief Counseling

If you’re ready to take the next step, I offer a free 20-minute consultation to ensure we’re a good fit. I would be honored to support you or your family as you move toward greater balance, connection, and well-being.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy swimming and spending time with my family and friends. I look forward to the moments when I can step away, travel to new places, and explore with my family.
